The Queen Mary
America’s Most Haunted Ocean Liner

There are cruise ships…
and then there are legends.
During our recent time in Southern California, we had the opportunity to stay overnight aboard the historic RMS Queen Mary in Long Beach, California. Originally launched in the 1930s as one of the world’s most famous ocean liners, the Queen Mary has lived many lives over the decades including luxury transatlantic crossings, wartime service as the “Grey Ghost,” and today, one of the most fascinating floating hotels and museums in the world.
But what makes the Queen Mary so unforgettable is the contrast between elegance and mystery.
From beautiful Art Deco interiors and historic staterooms to industrial corridors hidden deep within the ship, every deck tells a story. Walking through the endless hallways, standing on the captain’s bridge, exploring the isolation wards, and seeing the original systems that once powered this massive vessel truly felt like stepping back into another era.
Of course, no visit to the Queen Mary would be complete without exploring the ship’s haunted reputation.
Over the years, countless stories have emerged from aboard the ship. Guests and staff have reported unexplained footsteps, shadow figures, strange sounds, and sightings connected to former crew members and passengers who once sailed aboard. Whether you believe in the paranormal or simply appreciate the atmosphere of historic places, there’s no denying the Queen Mary carries an energy unlike anywhere else.
In our newest video, we take you aboard to experience both sides of the ship:
the luxury, the history, and the ghost stories that continue to surround this legendary ocean liner.
From hidden medical wards and haunted corridors to one very loud horn blast that startled our group on deck, this became one of the most memorable experiences of our California journey.
Watch the full video now and explore the Queen Mary with us.
Because some ships don’t just carry passengers…
they carry stories that never leave.
